12 people stabbed at German train station, suspect arrested: Police – State

Authorities said an attacker stabbed people on Friday at the German city of Hamburg, killing 12 people, including six serious.
Police said the man attacked people with a knife on a platform between 13 and 14 of the station. They said on social network X that the suspect was arrested but did not provide details.

The Hamburg Fire Department said six people suffered life-threatening injuries, while three others were seriously injured and three were injured.
The station in the center of Hamburg, Germany's second largest city, is a major hub for local, regional and long-distance trains. Police blocked part of the complex.
