Northern California officials confirm killer in stabbing by a 47-year-old high school teacher

After decades of suspicion, police in San Jose confirmed that the killer of a high school teacher in San Jose was a student who looked at it with a knife with the word “Dear Teacher” on it.
According to the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, June 16, 1978, the day after Blanham High School was lying in the summer day, a student found Diane Peterson lying on the floor of the hallway near the classroom with a stab wound on his chest.
According to the press release, Peterson is said to be one of several teachers on campus, when she was killed, cleared the classroom for the summer vacation.

For years, at that time, at that time, at that time, a 16-year-old student considered Harry “Nicky” Nickerson, then a 16-year-old student.
However, the tips they received and potential clients led to a dead end, so the case has not been resolved for 47 years.
Prosecutors said until earlier this year, police said a relative revealed that Nixon admitted stabbing the teacher just minutes after the incident.
“This marks the end of a terrible and tragic mystery,” Santa Clara Dist said. Atti. Jeff Rosen in the statement. “If Ms. Peterson hadn't crossed the road with this violent teenager, she would have been an elderly person today. I hope she was.”
Nickerson became an interested person just days after Peterson was killed when he was arrested for his crime-free, and detectives noticed that his booking photos were very similar to the police killer's police sketch.
The sketch comes from a student witness who says they hear Peterson yelling and see the killer run away. However, according to authorities, the same student later denied his statement.
Witnesses also told police that they had seen Nixon holding a knife with the words “Dear Teacher”. But under doubt, Nixon completely denied that there was a knife, and the authorities could not confirm this claim.
Years later, prosecutors noticed the retraction of classmates and another person who said Nixon admitted to killing Peterson when confronting the drug with Peterson, but none of the stories were confirmed.
Over the years, authorities said Nixon established a rap table that included kidnapping, armed robbery and convictions of attacks with deadly weapons. In 1984, he was shot and seriously injured during an attempted drug robbery and committed suicide in 1993.
“It has been nearly fifty years since the life of a young teacher was miserably spent,” said San Jose Police Chief Paul Joseph. “While the suspect will never be tried or faced with the consequences of his actions, we hope that the resolution brings peace to the loved ones of the victim and a community that has lost too long.”
