Collage of “Philippine Traffic Condition” Abuse of Vietnam Photos

supporter President Ferdinand Marcos misrepresented a photo of a crowded Vietnam road, depicting the Philippines during his presidency, Rodrigo Duterte. These posts mislead images compared to one of the busy Manila highways in May 2025.

The Misleading Collage was posted on Facebook on May 28 by a content creator who previously shared Pro-Marcos error messages debunked by AFP.

The post has two photos, one showing a deadlock intersection marked “Dutt Time.” This contrasts with the photo of the second ordered traffic marked with the “PBBM Time” using the abbreviation of the current leader.

Comments show people seem to believe this statement – users appreciate Marcos, whose popularity has dropped dramatically after the stunning arrest of the deputy deputies and the ex (link to archive).

One person wrote: “'du-dirty' has caused a lot of confusion. PBBM is now fixing these issues.”

Another wrote: “It is obvious that under PBBM, there is change and people are more disciplined.”

However, the Philippines did not take photos of large congestion.

A reverse image search for images marked “Duter Time” found it showing the impasse in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam (archive link).

The Chinese state-owned media organization, the Chinese media organization, published the photo and the National News Agency, which uses credit as the newest.

Its title is: “Photo taken on September 8, 2015 shows traffic congestion on a major road in Hanoi, Vietnam. Heavy rains occurred in Hanoi early Tuesday morning, leaving several streets in Hanoi and causing traffic congestion during peak hours. [Photo/Xinhua]. ”
