Dozens of protesters were arrested after violence throughout Los Angeles as tensions blew up a boiling point in the city’s immigration attacks.
Law enforcement officials from multiple agencies arrested 41 protesters on Sunday as anti-immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) demonstrations were struggling.
Of the nearly four arrests, 21 people were conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), 19 California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

A LAPD spokesman told Fox News Digital that the allegations included failure to disperse, attacks with deadly weapons, robbery and arson.
Fox News Digital learned that in the most violent crime, a man was arrested for attempted murder for a Molotov cocktail.
On Saturday, LAPD arrested 10 people for failing to disperse. The agency did not arrest any arrests on Friday, according to officials.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers.
The arrests were due to the possibility of more violence caused by sanctuary cities clashing with local, state and federal law enforcement for protesters.
The protests began Friday after federal agents swept the city’s clothing district in search of undocumented immigrants, and the protests began on Friday after the entire community sparked anger.

To cope with the unrest, President Donald Trump deployed 2,000 California National Guard units to the area, with 300 soldiers arriving over the weekend.
“We made a good decision to send the National Guard to deal with violence, incited riots in California,” Trump Written Truth Social Monday morning. “If we don’t do that, Los Angeles will be completely eliminated.”
Tensions escalated on the third day of the protests as agitators moved throughout the city, catching self-driving cars on fire and blocking major highways.

The National Guard guarded the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles on the street Sunday morning. As protesters approached the defenders, additional uniformed officers began shooting smoke-filled cans into the streets.
LAPD began firing to disperse crowd-controlled ammunition to disperse protesters, who then entered Highway 101 and continued to block traffic until state police cleared the road late afternoon.
In addition, protesters caught fire at least four self-driving electric cars, causing massive explosions to be heard throughout the chaos and regularly intermittent flash explosions. By Sunday night, local police issued an illegal rally order that effectively closed the entire downtown Los Angeles area.

“Demonstrators have already headed to the Los Angeles Field Area and blocked all traffic lanes in Figueroa and 11th Street.” Publish to X. “The downtown Los Angeles area has declared an illegal council. You will leave the area immediately.”
Trump's move to send the U.S. military has attracted criticism from local and national politicians, a move that Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom abandoned while vowing to sue the administration.
“It's about authoritarian tendencies,” Newsom said in a statement. “It's about command and control. It's about power. It's about self. It's a consistent model. The man abandoned the core principles of this great democracy. He threatened to follow the judges he disagreed with, cut funding for higher education institutions, and he rewrites history and reviews historical facts.”

Newsom arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday night to meet with state officials and monitor responses to the anti-ICE demonstrations.

“Why are Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass caring more about violent murderers and sex offenders than protecting their citizens?” Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement. “These thugs in Los Angeles are working to relax rapists, murderers and other violent criminals on the streets of Los Angeles. They should thank the ice officers every day, and they wake up every day to make our community safer.”
Representatives of the Beth Government did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
