El Al cancels flights to and from Israel, Ben Gurion Airport is closed

The airline announced Friday that Israeli airline El Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al Al canceled flights to and from Israel on Friday and Saturday, citing security concerns over a potential Iranian counterattack.

El al Al said it is suspending flights due to recent security developments and is consistent with the directives of the security and aviation authorities regarding the closure of Israeli airspace.

The airline is known for its operations even during conflict, urging passengers to prepare for overnight stay abroad until safety changes.

Flights already to Israel have been transferred to alternative airports, and all planned departures in Israel are rooted until further notice.

Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv also said on its website that it has been closed until further notice.

El Al said this will allow passengers to have tickets until June 28 to cancel and convert them into travel vouchers. New bookings for flights scheduled to June 22 have been suspended until things become clearer.
