The signature collection of Soaltee Kathmandu hotel opens in Nepal

Marriott International's signature collection debuted in South Asia when it opened in Kathmandu, Nepal.
This increase brings the total number of brands operated by Bonvoy Marriott in the region to 19.
The autographed hotel features 285 rooms, including suites, with views of the Himalayas and Swoyambhunath stupa. The property is located on 12 acres of land in the Tahahahar area.

The hotel's design blends contemporary elements with Nepalese traditions, including local art such as wooden Yalilis, exposed bricks and Thangka paintings.
Kathmandu Soaltee offers several dining options, a spa, outdoor pool and clay tennis courts.
In addition, there are 25,000 feet of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings and celebrations.
In line with sustainability efforts, the hotel has implemented environmental practices including an in-house water bottle plant, energy-saving systems, herbal gardens and waste reduction programs.

In March 2024, Marriott International expanded its signature collection brand by reaching an agreement with Victoria Park Hotels and plans to introduce the series to Hong Kong.
