Israeli couple get married in bomb shelter, Iranian missiles rain
According to Iranian Hayom, an Israeli couple was in a knot in a bomb shelter, rather than a popular wedding venue in Hadera, a coastal town north of Tel Aviv.
The newspaper named the couple Omer, 29, and Shir (30).
Shir told TV broadcaster N12 that the couple had considered postponing the ceremony a month ago, but after consultation with the host's rabbi, he decided to continue the ceremony when Hadera authorities provided bomb shelter as a venue.
The ceremony disappeared without an air alarm. War restrictions mean that the Israeli population cannot hold large gatherings openly.
“We did something like this for the first time, and we are proud of it,” Hadra Mayor Nir Ben Haim told the newspaper. Many guests attended the ceremony as part of the Israeli TV broadcast ceremony.
Since Iran began responding to Israeli air strikes that began in the early hours of Friday, the sirens of the air strikes have been heard regularly in Israel. The Israelites were forced to seek asylum.
In contrast, Iranian cities tend to lack warning systems and bomb shelters.
