“Yes, I mean, there are a lot of highs and lows in my career, especially some of the lows this year. I made a mistake and I feel deeply sorry for what happened,” Clark said Thursday at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut when asked to comment on what's in the Oakmont Locker Room.

“But I also want to keep going, not only myself, but also for Oakmont, because USGA and focus on the rest of the year and what's coming.”

Photos that surfaced on social media last week showed damage to the doors of multiple lockers.
JJ Spaun is the U.S. Open champion this year, completing the game with one stroke par. After 72 holes, no other competitor was able to finish on par.

Despite Clark's career experiences some special moments, the 31-year-old's last nine months are largely disappointing. During that time, he was in the top ten and ranked 27th in the world rankings of golf.

Clark finished the first round at the Travelers Championship with 64 points on Thursday.
