A 20-year-old Texas woman fell off her ski motorcycle and died just hours after sending her boyfriend a relaxing video.
Ashley Gil disappeared in a area of Lake Houston, Disson Park, after falling off from Tuesday, June 17, and her body was restored on Thursday, June 19, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD).
Ashley allegedly fell off a motorboat when she dropped her life jacket from the motorboat.
People contacted HPD on Sunday, June 22, but received no immediate response.
Ashley's boyfriend Jason Rogriguez said in a statement to ABC 13 Houston that he was working in town the day of the incident and he received a video that day about a few hours before she allegedly fell, Ashley had fun on a motorboat.
She wore a life jacket in the video, which he shared with the socket.
Jason also told ABC 13 that his and Ashley’s loved ones still had questions about what happened that day.
Investigators are waiting for Ashley's autopsy results to confirm her death, and they are currently investigating the tragedy around ABC 13.
