Russia's attack on Ukraine killed at least 5 times

The Russian drone and missile attack in Ukraine killed at least four people overnight and was injured, with rescuers and firefighters trying to evacuate people they believed were trapped in debris in a partially folded apartment building, according to Ukraine’s emergency services.

The strike occurred in a Russian attack on Ukraine last Tuesday, killing 28 people in Kiev, with 23 killing 23 in a residential building that collapsed after being directly attacked by missiles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it one of the biggest bombings in the war and now it is in its fourth year.

The Ministry of Emergency Services said drones and missiles hit residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure in many areas of Kiev in the early hours of Monday.

The Ministry of Emergency Services said four people were confirmed dead in the attack on the building, while another 10 were rescued, adding that they believed others were still trapped under the debris.

In the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region, another person was killed and eight people were injured, and the area is about 85 kilometers (53 miles) southwest of the capital.
