Iran launches missiles and drones in Israel after U.S. strikes on its nuclear targets
Iran launched missiles and drones in Israel on Monday, while also warning the United States that it has provided the U.S. military with a “free hand” to attack U.S. targets after the Trump administration's huge strike on Iran's nuclear field.
Israel said its defense system is intercepting threats, apparently targeting the northern and central regions, and telling people to go to shelters.
According to Iran's state television, the Iranian attack described the new wave of the attack's “Real Commitment 3”, saying it targets Israeli cities in Haifa and Tel Aviv.
No immediate damage was reported.
The attack came the day after the United States inserted into the Israeli war by attacking Iran’s nuclear site, prompting concerns about wider regional conflict.

On Monday, Iranian General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Joint Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, warned that the strike in Washington gave Iranian troops a “free hand” to act “in violation of American interests and its military.”

EU focuses on diplomacy
On Monday, top EU diplomats said the group was “very focused on diplomatic solutions.”
“The focus on revenge and the escalation of this war is huge,” Kaja Kallas said at the beginning of the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Brussels.
“In particular, Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz is extremely dangerous and not good for anyone,” Karas said.
