Prince Harry, Meghan Markle does not defend Tyler Perry

For some royal experts, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's silence is deafening.

Derek Dixon sued Tyler Perry for $260 million for alleged sexual harassment, assault and retaliation, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any public statement. The complaint, filed on June 13, suggests that the actor accused the filmmaker of creating a “compulsive, sexually exploitative dynamic” environment in filming “oval” and “brutal.”

Fox News Digital contacts Archewell, who handles the Duke and Duchess' office. Perry, 55, is the godfather of the couple's daughter, Princess Lilibet, 4 years old.

Royals expert Hilary Fordwich claimed that it was a clear sign that even good friends who lived in his home, rather than providing strong support like good friends, but…a total lack of moral courage. ”

“Their silence is to avoid entanglement in scandals, especially given their unstable position in Hollywood and Royal circles, which will not look good in the long run,” Fordwich warned.

“Harry and Meghan are in a failed situation. Any kind of keeping distance backfires. If Tyler Perry is exempted, their lack of support will be seen as betrayal, further undermining their credibility among friends and potential allies.

Tyler Perry and TPS Production Services, LLC attorney Matthew Boyd previously shared a statement with Fox News Digital.

“This is someone close to Tyler Perry, because it seems like it's just a scam now. But Taylor won't waver, and we're confident that these fabricated harassment claims will fail,” the statement said.

Dixon claimed that he sexually assaulted Perry in January 2020, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex retreated to California as senior royals.

In the 2022 Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, Perry talked about his close friendship with the couple and how he sheltered them from his Los Angeles home, where they felt safe with then-1-year-old son Prince Archie after the Royal Exit.

“You said, ‘as long as you need it for a long time.’ We said, “Maybe we stay forever. ” Harry, 40, told Perry, as quoted by People magazine.

“Tyler Perry put himself there and was one of the few aides to defend the Sardsex people,” Kinsey Schofield, host of the “to di for Daily” podcast, told Fox News Digital. “Prince Harry was quoted in an interview with Anderson Cooper in January 2023, “Silence is betrayal.” I think Tyler Perry would be grateful for it at this point.”

“The silence between Harry and Meghan looks completely selfish,” Schofield said.

In the Public Opinion Court, agents and PRists often gather influential celebrities to wield defendants to sway media narratives and public sentiment. It doesn't matter whether you are guilty or not. With the right rotation, you can keep working after the consequences… If Harry and Meghan and Meghan choose to participate and support Tyler, then it can encourage other public events, but I can comply with the system.

“I worked with Tyler Perry,” Schofield shared. “He scared me. I hope the allegations are not true – not only for my own memory of Taylor, but for Harry and Meghan's daughter Lily (his goddess).”

Perry said he said he first became familiar with Megan, 43, after sending her a letter before the 2018 royal wedding. Perry told the former American actress that he prayed for her in a “hurt” controversy over her tension with her father, former Hollywood lighting director Thomas Markle.

“I can't even imagine this woman discovering the man she loves, the man she dreams of, he's the prince, and then going into all the madness that requires the safety of the family and then having your father do something terrible,” Perry said. “When my life changes and starts to succeed, family members become different people, and I know how terrible and terrible it can be.”

Perry pointed out that he immediately “sympathized with Megan.”

“He stood by the couple during the transition from Royal Life to America when they were in their most vulnerable state,” Fordwich said. “Despite their strategic justification for silence, it reflects their overall characteristics… what they mean [appears to be] Showcase the other celebrities and the world in full… Shouldn’t they be advocates of self-proclaimed sympathy and justice? ”

In Harry & Meghan, it was revealed that Meghan cried to Perry when she began opening up how the British media treated her. Meghan and Harry cited the unbearable invasion of the British media, and the lack of support from the palace as a reason for their withdrawal.

“Tell Megan, I think her feelings work, [that] Injured,” Perry said, as people quoted. “She was afraid that they would destroy her, or go crazy, or they made her think she was crazy. ”

In the series, Meghan and Harry admitted that there is no place in California where they can feel safe during the pandemic. It was Perry who stepped in and opened the door for them.

“It's a blessed thing because no one knows we're there,” Harry said.

“It's a secret, so at least during the 19th we can take the dog for a walk and have some normal life,” Megan said.

Schofield insists that the Megans, in particular, can use their platform to express support for her friends. Meghan rebooted her Instagram account in January with 3.9 million followers.

“Harry and Meghan's refusal to engage is obviously a self-protection act,” Schofield said. “But avoiding the Perry scandal because Meghan is almost like the rampage on social media and that she has promoted her brand as always.”

“You can post your own four-year-old video [doing the ‘Baby Mama Dance’] But can't you admit that you have friends in need? Is it impossible to measure someone who shows you so kindly? A person who gives you a private jet, luxury home, and most importantly, an exit strategy? ” Schofield said.

“Tyler Perry said he was innocent – maybe he was,” Schofield said. “But Harry and Meghan didn't even have it [told] The media they stood by him was just another example of the Sussex people going all out. ”

According to Dailymail in the UK, Perry posted a heartfelt birthday message to the Duchess in 2022, which read: “I have had a front seat in my life over the past few years. I have watched you endure a lot of people breaking a lot of people. I am so proud of how happy I feel for you, you, your husband and your children.”
