It has been nearly four years since Conor McGregor last entered UFC Octagon.
McGregor fought Dustin Poirier on July 10, 2021, about six months after losing his loss but broke his leg, which caused the fight to be shut down.
The Irish planned to return with Michael Chandler on UFC 303, but the fight was cancelled due to McGregor's breaking toe.

This cancellation was more than a year ago and McGregor still hasn't entered yet.
But UFC legend Georges St. Pierre hopes McGregor will make a comeback once and for all.
“I hope so. When Conner fights, it's good for the sport, it's good for everyone.” Last weekend, St. Pierre told Fox News Numbers at Fanatics Day in New York. “He brought more eyeballs than anyone else in the sport. As far as promotion goes, he is the biggest name for mixed martial arts ever. I just hope he comes back – if he wants to.
Back in April, McGregor entered social media, noting that he would return only when he was in the stadium.

Dana White has previously expressed opposition to hosting a fight in the stadium. In September, ahead of UFC 306, White made it clear that holding a fight at the stadium would come at the expense of a fan experience due to production challenges.
“When I have live events on Saturday, I want people to have the best internal experience and I want the same experience on TV,” he told the media at a press conference. “I just don't understand why I need to do a stadium?”
“I’m interested in having the best live events. People always talk about how fast the sport is going – live events are part of what makes the sport grow.”
