Israeli pro-Palestinian rally in Calgary after air strikes in Gaza

Dozens of people gathered in front of Calgary City Hall on Tuesday to call for an end to the war in Gaza and condemn a wave of Israel in the embattled Palestinian territory that killed hundreds and injured hundreds.

Protesters also condemned the Palestinian flag and shouted “Israel is a terrorist and Palestine will never die.”

“I'm here because I believe in basic human rights, the ability to live freely without worrying about who you are,” Beth Keeler said.

“I'm here just to support Palestine and have a voice for Palestine. If Canada can stand up for Palestine, it might not have happened.”
