Jesse Watters

Fox News host Jesse Watters has been confused recently about the personal life of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas).

In a section of the “Five” Thursday night, panel member Emily Compagno complained that Crockett criticized the Trump administration’s immigration policy and its immigration remarks at the Capitol Hill hearing the day before.

Waters then jumped in and tried to scan the Democratic representative, claiming that he “studyed” her and learned about her dating life.

“She is single, she is 43 and never married,” he said on Crockett, 44.

“I wanted to figure out what made her tick. I think I could set her up with someone. I know a guy in a DC – he's white, and hopefully that's not the problem – but he'll make her happy,” he laughed. “Maybe she won't hate others at that time, except herself.”

He added: “It's my honor.”

Watters is Slammedon X, formerly Lytwitter, because he makes misogynistic irony about Crockett, suggesting that her or any woman’s happiness depends on marriage. Not to mention, Crockett’s personal dating life certainly has nothing to do with his business.

Kari J., professor of American Studies at the University of Buffalo.

“”[They] She targeted her with racist, misogynistic hate speech, not only because they embraced the values of sexist white supremacist, but because they were desperate to avoid responding to her views and policies. ” she said.

Winter said famous magazine voices often emit “outrageous” insults to “steal our attention.”

“Trump's anti-immigration actions are illegal and unreasonable. What can his enslaves say? They have nothing. So they are 100% focused on harassment rather than telling the audience,” Winter said. “They throw out every evil, outrageous insult they can think of in order to steal our attention from the shocking, illegal, democratic actions of the Trump administration.”

Winter added that Crockett was “whipped, brave and eloquent” and that the female congressman “knows that a just legal system is the foundation of democracy.”

Monica Cwynar, a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in trauma and coping skills, said that as a black therapist, she believes that “personal aggression, especially against women of color like Congresswoman Crockett, harms the realities and reflects the gender discrimination and racism in our public discourse.”

She continued: “This kind of remark is not only invalid, but dangerous because they obscure important policy discussions and contribute to a culture that prioritizes substantive criticism for individual depreciation.”

Cwynar said comments like Watters’s work lowered “the voice of women in politics” and strengthened “destructive stereotypes.”

and even though Watters [a woman’s] Value is related to a man's life. ” Cwynar said.

Overall, negative comments about women being single can “cause emotional hurt, instill feelings of inadequacy and shame.”

Cwynar said of Watters’ “Five” in Crockett that his comments “destroy the diverse ways women live a fulfilling life.”

Winter believes it is part of Waters' plan.

“Jesse Watters is an angry businessman whose career as a commentator is based on causing shocking, hateful remarks to attract our attention,” she said. “I guess he is looking for racist, sexist stereotypes so he can stock it day after day.”

“Maybe the only way people get rid of their hatred right-wing sludge is to turn around and walk away,” she added. “We need to choose to focus on the people we really care about, the problems and the work.”
