The U.S. men's national football team will enter the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup after a huge penalty shootout against Costa Rica.
After 90 minutes or more, the game was deadlocked in two goals, leading to a free throw in the gunfight, which left all the drama putting everyone on the edge of the seat and seeing who would keep moving forward.
After USMNT's Tyler Adams and Costa Rica's Alonso Martinez buried the start of the penalty shootout, U.S. goalkeeper Matt Freese made a huge savings on Juan Pablo Vargas' shooting percentage to make his team bigger.

It was after Malik Tillman made up for a missed shot in the regular season that would have been the champion of the game, putting his shooting percentage perfectly on left-wing Costa Rican legend Keylor Navas.
But Sebastian Berhalter, the son of former USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter, was evenly as he tried to fly over the internet. Santiago van der Putten surpassed Freese for Costa Rica's follow-up shot, although the goalkeeper guessed correctly.
After Alex Freeman and Jefferson Brenes shot their shots separately, Freese's attempt at Francisco Calvo saved the situation again, which allowed John Tolkin to shoot to end it all. However, Navas jumped to the left and knocked off Tolkin's shot.
An extra round was needed, but Fries was just locked. He was able to stop back-to-back shooting, saving Andy Rojas' shot this time.
Similarly, USMNT had a chance to finish the game and Damion Downs got the chance. This time, Navas couldn't guess, as Towns went left and immediately celebrated the ball when it hit the net.
Within 90 minutes before the gunfight, there were fireworks, starting with “Los Ticos”. It was Calvo who got the free throw in the 12th minute and got the best Freese.
However, UMSNT rallied at the end of the first half with Diego Luna scoring in the 43rd minute and Max Arfsten scoring after the 47th minute.
Then, in the 71st minute of the second half, Martinez slipped in after rebounding Freese tied up the game.
