President Donald Trump socialized the truth earlier Thursday, calling on Republicans who still refused to vote on the House process for the “big bill.”
As the vote stagnated, Wednesday night stagnated — “opposition” by five Republicans and eight other Republicans have not voted yet — the president touted the benefits of the country’s expected pass through the bill.
“The biggest tax cuts in history and the economy boomed, the biggest tax increase in history, the economy failed,” Trump wrote before turning his anger to Republicans. “What are Republicans waiting for?

Trump later wrote that voting should be “simple” for Republicans, saying it was “ridiculous” to reserve the refusal to vote.
Procedure “rule voting” allows lawmakers to debate before the final vote on “Big Beautiful Bill” before going to the president's desk to sign.
By early Thursday, the following House Republicans hadn't had it in the procedural vote: Andrew Clyde, Georgia's representative, Brian Fitzpatrick, Keith of Texas Self, Victoria Spartz of Indiana, Thomas Massie of Kentucky – they switched from “yay” to “yay.”
When asked why he refused to vote, Massi told Fox News digits, “because most people in the world don’t care about the difference between the votes that rule solves and the votes that end up passing.”

Burchett left other rooms that retained and criticized the bill after 1 a.m. Thursday, Burchett told reporters: “I think we're very close to solving the problem.”
But he would not say how he would vote for the law.
Republican lawmakers can only lose three votes. Republican leaders have now made the rules public for more than four hours in an attempt to put pressure on a majority.
House Speaker Mike Johnson recalled lawmakers to Washington, eager to seize the momentum of the bill the day before the Senate and vowed to push forward.
When the vote was in progress, Johnson told Fox News: “Everyone wants to achieve it.”

The vote that quickly summoned more than 800 pages of bills was risky gambit designed to meet Trump's demand for the end of the holiday. Republicans are struggling almost every step of the year, usually succeeding with the narrowest profits, with only one vote.
