Israeli strikes killed 94 times in Gaza, as work continues toward an elusive ceasefire – Country

The hospital and health ministry said on Thursday that the Israeli air strikes and shootings killed 94 Palestinians in Gaza on Wednesday and Thursday, 45 of whom tried to obtain much-needed humanitarian aid, the hospital and health ministry said on Thursday.
The family cried during a night strike attack on the tent camp as displaced people slept in southern Gaza. At least 13 members of a family were killed, including at least 6 children under the age of 12.
“My child, my child…my beloved.” Intisar Abu Assi cried, crying on the bodies of his son and daughter and his little ones. Another woman kissed the forehead of a dead little girl, wrapped around a blanket on the floor of Nasser Hospital in Khanyunes.
In central Gaza, a boy caresses the face of his dead sister, 6-year-old Heba Abu Etiwi, in a morgue at Al-Aqsa Martyrs's Hospital. The girl and her other brother were killed eight people when Wednesday night's strike crashed near a shelf selling falafel.
A strike that sheltered displaced people also killed 15 people in a school in Gaza City.
The losses caused by the strike emerged, and as an attempt was made to obtain assistance, more and more Palestinians were killed in nearly daily shootings.

Five people were killed on the road to the food distribution site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a newly formed, secret American organization supported by Israel to feed the population of the Gaza Strip. Another 40 people were killed while waiting for a truck carrying UN-aid aid at several locations near Gaza, according to hospital officials.
Witnesses said Israeli forces regularly release barrage to Palestinians trying to reach the GHF site. Witnesses also reported that troops opened fire when large crowds of people near the military-operated areas of Gaza were waiting for UN trucks to enter.
More than 500 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds have been injured since the food distribution location in May.
Israeli military forces, deployed on the road to the site, said it fired warning shots to control crowds or Palestinians approaching the troops. Armed American contractors guard the website.
Amnesty says Israel uses hunger as a weapon
Amnesty International released a report on Thursday saying Israel continues to “use civilians as weapons of war … as part of its ongoing genocide.”

It said that even if Israel allows only a small amount of food for distribution to the United Nations, the GHF distribution system is even to “please comfort international issues.”
“By maintaining a deadly, dehumanized and ineffective militarized, the Israeli authorities have turned aid seeking aid into a clumsy trap for desperate hungry Palestinians,” it said.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry condemned the amnesty report, saying the group “joined with Hamas and adopted all propaganda lies completely.”
Israel rejected allegations of genocide in Gaza in the war with Hamas, which is challenging the charges filed by South Africa in the International Court of Justice.

Amnesty International accused Israel of committing genocide last year, saying it attempted to deliberately destroy Palestinians by carrying out deadly attacks, dismantling vital infrastructure and preventing the provision of food, medicine and other aid.
Israel intends to replace the United Nations humanitarian network with GHF, which has provided a lot of assistance to the Palestinians throughout the war. Israel argues that Hamas draws a lot of aid from the system, a claim denied by the United Nations and aid groups. They rejected the GHF, saying it could not provide sufficient assistance, endanger the Palestinians and were used by Israel to achieve its war goals.
Israel has pushed its population to famine this year by pushing all food and other food and other supplies available to Gaza for 2 1/2 months, pushing its population toward famine, a move that prompted Hamas to push for Hamas to negotiate and release the hostages.
It eased the lockdown in March. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kogat, the Israeli defense agency responsible for Gaza's coordination of aid, said on Wednesday that Israel has promoted more than 3,000 AIDS trucks to enter the Gaza Strip.
There are about 28 trucks a day, and a small portion of hundreds of trucks a day needs to be said.
GHF rejected criticism of its business in a statement Tuesday, saying it had served more than 52 million meals. GHF distributes food staple boxes such as lentils and rice, saying that one box is equivalent to over 50 meals.
Witnesses reported that the messy scenes on the GHF website were desperate crowds coming to pick up the food boxes, some of whom took more than one, while many others returned empty-handed. Many foods are sold on the market at astronomical prices.
Continue to work on an elusive ceasefire
Gaza's Ministry of Health said that since the war began on October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza has exceeded 57,000. The ministry did not distinguish between civilians and combatants on the death charges, but more than half were women and children.
The death was because Israel and Hamas were closer to a ceasefire that could end the 21-month war.

Trump said on Tuesday that Israel has agreed to a 60-day ceasefire clause in Gaza and urged Hamas to accept the deal before conditions worsen. Hamas' response highlighted its demand for a truce to end the war.
Israeli military blames Hamas for civilian casualties because it operates from densely populated areas. The military said it opened fire on Israel on Wednesday against Hamas militants and rocket launchers in northern Gaza.
The war began when Hamas-led militants attacked southern Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking about 250 hostages.
The war has put Palestinian coastal territory in ruins and most of the cityscapes have flattened during the battle. More than 90% of Gaza's 2.3 million people are displaced, usually multiple times.
