Kelly Clarkson delays Las Vegas residence-style debut to “protect” her voice

Kelly Clarkson delayed the opening hours of his Las Vegas residence before it was about to begin.

“Kelly Clarkson: Studio Conference – Residence in Las Vegas, announced in February, to begin the Colosseum, which was scheduled to take place on July 4 at Caesars Palace.

People magazine reported that the singer went to Instagram a few hours before she was supposed to be on stage and announced that she would postpone the show to protect her voice.

“We have been working 24/7 to make the studio meeting the closest, most extraordinary experience and provide it to my incredible fans,” the 43-year-old wrote. “I am so grateful that you always show up for me and I have to postpone it tonight and tomorrow at the opening of Caesar.

“Preparation and rehearsals have caused a huge loss to my voice,” Clarkson shared. “I hope these shows are perfect for everyone and I need to protect myself from serious harm, so I have a break this weekend and next week so we can deliver what you all deserve.

“The performance is incredible,” Clarkson continued. “The musicians and singers are amazing, and I hope we all start to be strong. I can't wait to come back next weekend and show you what we've been doing.”

Fox News Digital approached the comments with the “American Idol” alumni.

Many fans quickly participated in the comment section to express their disappointment. Others expressed their blessings to the star.

“I'm a loyal fan, flying around from Boston and spending thousands of tickets and hotels to watch my 40th birthday show,” one user wrote. “I really want you to stay healthy, but canceling this lateness has had a huge financial impact on your loyal fans.”

“I'm so excited for the opening night,” another shared. “We're waiting in line all day. I hope you feel better.”

“I hope you can get 15 minutes before opening the door,” one wrote. “I hope you feel better.”

“Flying in from New York for two opening weekend shows,” one person added. “The destruction doesn't cut it, but your health has to be first. Kelly will get better soon.”

Earlier in the day, Clarkson shared photos of himself rehearsing on stage with the title “Tonight!”!

According to people, Clarkson had a sold-out engagement at Planet Hollywood Resort in 2023 and 2024 and PH Live in Vegas in 2024.

In March, the “You're Going” singer marked a major milestone in her 1,000th episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” At the time, Clarkson admitted to her fans that she had “lost” a lot of things throughout the show.

“I can't believe today is 1,000. It's crazy,” she said to a roaring crowd. “We met some very talented people, a large number of big stars and inspiring everyday heroes.

“In episode 1,000, we laughed together, we cried together, we cried together, we sang together, dancing together, celebrating and competing together.”

“I lost a lot by myself,” she said, but she did not explain what she was referring to.

Her fans sympathized with her and said, “aww.”

“It's OK,” Clarkson replied, seemingly shrugging, getting rid of her vulnerable comments.

“There are also many ups and downs,” she stressed.

“Along the way, we found comfort in each other,” Clarkson said. “I thank everyone who participated in this trip. It was a really cool time.”

Clarkson was absent for nearly two weeks while various celebrities served as guest hosts. She returned on March 18 but asked another guest host to replace her the next day. She returns to March 20. At the time, Clarkson's representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Clarkson's episode 1,000 comes after she endured several years of turmoil, a highly publicized divorce from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The divorce settled in 2022 and Clarkson was under primary physical custody of two children, River and Remington.
