Turkiye denim producer logo $20 million Egypt factory deal to increase exports

The deal is worth $20 million and is expected to generate about 500 direct jobs.
The plant is expected to produce up to 18 million tons of denim fabric each year. Half of this output is designated as the exit, while the remaining half will provide home factories in Egypt.

“The Suez Canal Economic Zone continues to strengthen its efforts to attract sector investments in the current stage that authorities aim to localize their strategies to achieve the state's goal of deepening local manufacturing and increasing exports,” Walid Gamal El-Din said.
The Authority Chairman said the authority was also committed to improving infrastructure in the region to increase supply chains and integrate them with economic zone ports in the Red Sea and Mediterranean and its industrial and logistics areas, and align them with increased international demand for commodities.

The company has a workforce of more than 5,000 in its factories in the country, and its textiles export it to numerous global brands.
Waleid Gamal El-Dien recently signed a contract with Turkiye Company Ulusoy to establish a 35,000m industrial project2 Land plots in Qantara West Industrial Zone.
The factory will produce fiber yarn, carpet yarn, hand-knitted yarn, triangular yarn and household crochet yarn.
The $18 million project is expected to generate about 855 direct jobs.
Last August, Turkiye's Eroglu clothing began building at a ready-made $40 million ready-made clothing factory in the Qantara West Industrial district.
