Italian airport temporarily closed after human death on the runway
Italy's Milan Bergamo Airport provides connections to and from Milan, which was temporarily closed on Tuesday after a man died on the runway during the preparations for a takeoff preparation.
The airport said in a statement that flight operations from 10:20 a.m. to local time were suspended until local time. The airport said in a statement that authorities are investigating.
A spokesman confirmed that a man had died, adding that he was neither a passenger nor an airport staffer.

Bergamo police did not immediately comment.
Spanish low-cost airline Volotea said in a statement that after the engine incident to Asturias at 10:35 a.m., “a person who does not join… has no relationship with the company.”
Volotea said the 154 passengers on the plane were rescheduled for the afternoon flight and provided psychological support, as were the crew members who might have been injured by the incident.
