March Madness: The Frustration of No. 2 Seed St. John

The 10th seed Arkansas razorbacks beat No. 2 St. John's Cathedral in Saturday's 32-round match at Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

St. John is the first No. 2 seed to be eliminated in this year's tournament. The Red Storm hit only 28% of the field and 2-22 from three-pointers.

Pitino later in the second half with RJ Luis Jr. Louis scored 9 points and 7 rebounds, but only 3-17 points on the court.
Zuby Ejiofor is the only player to shoot well for St. John, scoring 23 points in 12 shots while 12 rebounds were towing. The only only double-digit player for St. John is Deivon Smith, 13.

For Arkansas, three players scored in double figures in a frustrated victory. Billy Richmond III scored 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Karter Knox and Johnell Davis scored 15 and 13 points respectively.
As a team, Arkansas is shooting more than St. John's, but also struggles from three-pointers. The Razorbacks shot 42.9% from the field but shot 2-19 from three-pointers.

Despite the shooting from Deep, the Razorbacks still entered Sweet 16 in Calipari's first year as coach.
Arkansas will play the winner of the 11th seed Drake and the 3rd seed Texas Tech, who tips on Saturday at 6:10 p.m.
