Greenland shuts down Trump's statement, inviting Usa Vance to visit – Country

The Greenland administration said that despite President Trump's insistence on doing so, a Usha Vance delegation was not invited to visit the island.
Vice President JD Vance's wife Vance will land on autonomous Danish territory on Thursday with one of their children, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Energy Minister Chris Wright.
The trip comes as Trump ramps up efforts to put the world’s largest island under American rule, and his leaders’ repetitive engines are overturned with repeated dramas of his autonomy.
While technically being Danish territory, Greenland runs its own parliament. The Danish authorities oversee its foreign policy and provide extensive financial support.
On Tuesday, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen opposed Vance's upcoming arrival.
She told Denmark Channel TV 2: “I have to say that in this case, unacceptable pressure is put in Greenland and Denmark. What we will resist is the pressure.”
In a conversation with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office earlier this month, the president said he wanted to obtain Greenland for international security.
On Monday, he told reporters that Vance's upcoming visit was not a “provocation.”
He said: “It’s friendly…We are dealing with many people from Greenland who want to see things happening properly protected and properly cared for.
Shortly after Trump's speech, the Greenland government denied that it had recommended a visit.

“For record only, the Greenland government Naalakkersuisut has not extended any invitation to visit.
Greenland Prime Minister Múte Bourup Egge told Sermitsiaq on Sunday that Vance's upcoming visit was “very radical” and added that the U.S. pressure on Greenland society had reached a critical level.
“It is not helpful to stand together in Greenland, to speak out, and diplomatic attempts to dialogue are futile. Now, the international community must respond.”
On Monday, Vance posted an Instagram video where she expressed excitement about her upcoming visit to the Arctic island and experience its culture.
“I am particularly pleased to visit your national dog sled race and our country is proud to be a sponsor,” she said.
Vance continued: “I’ve been reading all about it with the kids and I was amazed at the incredible skills and teamwork needed to compete in this game.”
The second lady will also visit the U.S. military base. Under the US military control, land remains the sovereign territory of the host country Greenland.
Pipaluk Lynge, a senior member of the Greenland Parliament and head of the Island Foreign and Security Policy Committee, told Politico this week that he planned to protest Vance's arrival in the town of Sisimiut.
“We protest politically [as] Greenland people. ” she told Publish.
In January, before taking office, Trump sent his son Donald Trump Jr. To plant seeds of support for American rule in Greenland, Ringer is considered a political stunt.
Greenland has a large number of shops with a large number of unexploited mineral resources and occupies an increasingly important geographical location in an increasing number of geopolitical landscapes.
