Zack Peter is the host of the popular pop culture podcast “No Filter” and has been following the downward spiral of “Snow White” since the beginning.

Although some estimates in February predict the film will account for $85 million domestically during its opening weekend, Snow White opens in the U.S. and Canada $43 million ticket sales. It then dropped 66% at the box office on the second weekend. Last weekend, the new “Minecraft Movie” was released for $163 million, while “Snow White” made only $6 million.

Peter believes that star Rachel Zegler is largely blamed on the movie's collapse. In the months leading up to the premiere of “Snow White”, Zegler's outspoken politics gave her and the upcoming film some unnecessary attention. She posted a message on “Free Palestine” on X, and in another Instagram post, she hopes that Donald Trump supporters “never know about peace.” Later, she would apologize for the latter's comments, but before some damage has been done.

“I know people are trying to say, like Gal Gadot, you know, others are part of the criticism, but I think Rachel Zegler is very important at the center of it,” Peter told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. “Her polarization. She told people that if they don't vote for Kamala Harris, she doesn't want to support their support. I think they heard that message loudly and clearly. So they don't want to come and support her.”

“I think, you know, people like Rachel Zegler, I know she's still young, but I don't think what she realizes is that even if she does want to make the audience polar, and there's a small part of the community that she doesn't want to support her, those who are still kids and family, and they want to take the kids to be a part, he continues to be Disney, and he continues to be Disney.” “And I think she's definitely going to lose that information and lose a lot of people.”

“I mean, she brought the trailer promotion to the trailer promotion with free Palestinian comments, and Disney really doesn’t like becoming political,” he added. “They want to make sure Disney’s magic is a passionate community for everyone.

Peter suggested Disney was partially at fault for not “training” Zegler’s news tour.

“Maybe this is Disney.

Jonah Platt, son of “Snow White” producer Marc Platt, Now deleted Instagram comments His father was forced to take time to deal with Zegler's influence.

“Yes, my father, producer [an] With hundreds of millions of dollars on Disney IP, having to leave his family and fly across the country to condemn his 20-year-old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of a promotional film, she signed a multi-million-dollar contract to get paid and promote,” he wrote.

Peter regrets that Disney seems to be popular among classic love story formulas lately. “Snow White” on the live show deleted the songs she sang in search of her true love, and focused heavily on her pursuit of becoming a leader. Zegler even devalued the original plot of the film at the 2022 D23 Fair.

“I just said it was no longer 1937,” she told Variety. “She wouldn't be rescued by the prince, and she wouldn't dream of true love.

“I don't know why there's a love story now that's so controversial, you know?” Peter mused on Fox News figures. “Like, I just, I don't understand. I totally believe that we can build women without having to tear down men. And I don't understand why we need to like, make men villains here, and why she can't have a love interest.
