“If you let us know the complete program, supplement, routine and so on, it's 62-year-old in the wild, it's really cool.”

The British actor previously detailed his fitness journey in an interview with The Guardian and joined “Return” director Uberto Pasolini. “Fiennes performed five months of physical exercise to get Odysseus' muscles and tough framework,” the media reported.

“Uberto is very clear. He doesn't want me to have a heavy gym,” Phines said, adding that he told his personal trainer Don Avasilcai that his character “should look like some old rope.”

Two and a half months before Fiennes started filming, he “started the regime of weight training and running, with a diet rich in protein, complex carbohydrates and vegetables to lose nearly all of his body fat.”

The director admitted that he was worried that Fiennes' physique would not fit his role, but he seemed to have approved his fit later.

“In the beginning, I must admit that I kind of doubted that there was too much protein and exercise so much that we would have a body that looked like exercise, not a body consumed, a living body. There was no gym in ancient Greece.”

Fiens isn't the first celebrity to change his role dramatically.
