The Trump administration should not take children away from parents, DHS said

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said the Venezuelan government has spread the false information that the Trump administration is separating children from members of the violent Trend de Alagua Gang (TDA).
A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security shared a press release that said that despite the Venezuelan government claiming that the United States “kidnapping” a child, the fact is that DHS took action because her parents were both part of Tren de Aragua. ”
The agency said the problematic father, Maiker Espinoza-Escalona, was a lieutenant of Tren de Aragua, who oversees homicides, drug sales, kidnapping, ransomware, sex trafficking and operating torture houses.
In addition to the father, the mother of the child, Yorely Scarleth Bernal Inciarte, is also responsible for overseeing the recruitment of young women for drug smuggling and prostitution.

“These criminally illegal foreigners entered the country illegally and eventually removed from the judge,” DHS said.
The DHS said the child was deported from the deportation flight through a partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services. The child is still in nursing and custody of the refugee resettlement office and is placed in foster care families, the agency said.
“Ask parents if they want to remove their parents with their children, or ice cubes to bring their children with the person designated by their parents,” the agency added.

“In this case, parents say they want to remove it with their kids,” the Department of Homeland Security said.
“The child was detained due to violent criminal activities by parents, including torture, sexual trafficking and kidnapping. We will not allow abuse of this child and continue to suffer criminal activities that endanger her safety.”

The department thanked Trump for evacuating members of the TDA gang from the country.
“Trump President and Secretary Norm assumes a serious responsibility to protect children and will continue to work with federal law enforcement and the Department of Health and Human Services to ensure children are protected from abuse, sexual exploitation and trafficking,” the statement added.

“The last government allowed many children who were not accompanying the border to be placed with sponsors who were actually smugglers and sex traffickers,” the Department of Homeland Security said.
“In less than 100 days, Secretary Norm and Secretary Kennedy have reunited with more than 5,000 unaccompanied children as a relative or safe guardian,” DHS said.
Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin, joined Fox News' “Big Weekend Show” last week and shared her reaction to the left-wing media, trying to criticize the Trump administration for expelling a 2-year-old citizen, even if the DHS said her mother wanted to be with her when she was expelled from Hendoras.

“Mothers have the option if she wants to bring two children back to Honduras,” McLaughlin explained.

“It’s very common practice, but I do think it also shows that we really care about the safety of these children. We have put together further safeguards such as biometric testing and DNA to make sure the children are actually the children of these guardians and parents because we’ve seen these drugs too much, traffickers, sex traffickers, exploiting these migrant children because they have too much scope for themselves.
