Justin Tucker's statement sparks anger in sports media

The Baltimore Ravens faced strong backlash on Monday, with the statement freeing all-pro kicker Justin Tucker amid allegations of multiple sexual misconduct against him.
Eric DeCosta, the Ravens executive vice president and general manager, said the team “made a difficult decision” to release Tucker.

“Justin has created many important and memorable moments in the history of the Crows. His reliability, concentration, motivation, resilience and extraordinary talent have made him one of the best kickers in the league in more than a decade,” Decosta said.
“We thank Justin for his many contributions while playing for the Ravens. We sincerely hope that he and his family will go well in the next chapter of their lives.”
