One person died and 32 people were hospitalized in a hot crash between a travel bus and SUV

One died and 32 people were hospitalized one morning after a fiery crash between a tour bus and an SUV on Highway 60.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, when authorities arrived at the scene, the SUV was already engulfed in flames.

Officials said the flames did not spread to the bus. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, 32 people were taken to the hospital, and at least two were in critical condition.

Three lanes on Highway 60 west of Azusa Avenue will be closed as the investigation continues.
