Fox News host defends RFK Little Swimming at Rock Creek: “That creek looks clean”

Fox News host Jesse Watters was on Tuesday for Health and Public Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“That [creek] It looks clean,” Waters said on Fox News' “Five.” “It doesn't look full of sewage. ”

Kennedy recently revealed that he was swooping in a stream that passed through the heart of the national capital.

“Mother's Day hikes at Dunbarton Oak Park with Amaryllis, Bobby, Kick and Jackson, as well as swimming with my grandson, Bobcats and Cassius,” Kennedy wrote in an article on social platform X on the weekend.

“Rock Creek has high levels of bacterial and other infectious pathogens that make swimming, wading and other contact with water harmful to human (and pets) health,” the National Park Service (NPS) said on its website.

“Please stay on the trails and rivers to protect yourself and your dog. All regional waterways are subject to swimming bans – which also means wading!” NPS continues.

Watters said on Tuesday Friday that “you can see directly” the creek and compared it to the Hudson River, saying “you can’t even see it.”
