Your favorite boat trip in the UK and Europe
Broadly speaking, Norfolk is very suitable for sailing
Hunter yard in Ludham, Norfolk, looked at the fleet of boating yachts and day trips from the 1930s, some now with electric motors. Beautifully maintained and easy to navigate, providing a peaceful, beautiful holiday. I was a teenager who had organized cruises in the spring and summer and then jumped over for the young people on the same cruise. Far from obvious and popular attractions, the Norfolk Mountains are still wild, full of birds and animals. Arrive at the bunk bed early with water, ducks and rigging sounds. Get up early and drive past the sleeping gin palace. Near the bar, enjoy evening drinks as soon as possible. The staff at Hunter's yard are friendly and happy to advise you. I will never forget the smell of wood and varnish in the workshop.

Inspired by Cheshire Ring Poems
It was when I was cruising on the Cheshire Rings on a narrow boat where I began writing poetry. Why? From this perspective, I have never seen such glorious, contrasting scenery in England – from the old factories and factories casting shadows on the water, to gliding along the emerald countryside, watching wildlife and hearing the street life and hustle and bustle above the canal in the heart of Manchester City. The circular route is 97 miles long and combines six different canals and takes up to two weeks to complete. And, who knows, in the end, you might be writing poetry, too.

From Dresden to Zexen Switzerland
Capture the paddle steamer from Dresden, nicknamed Florence on Elbe, to Bad Schandau (about 30 euros for adults), its rock formations, views and walking. The passing steamers welcomed each other and their funnel explosion shocked the Somnambulant Day Trippers. As we crossed the bends of the river during a six-hour voyage, we passed beautiful villages and palaces of rich people, sometimes accompanied by flying birds such as herons. The waiter ensured continuous refreshments including Piercener and Worst.

Idyllic escape on the White River in Herefordshire
Canoeing along the Wye River makes an idyllic escape. Many companies offer travel ranging from half to four days, suitable for all passions and abilities. We chose to go for scenic spots from Hoarwithy to Symonds Yat, camping in the picturesque Ross-Wye. This river is perfect for beginners canoeing – the entire river is calm and surrounded by constant, breathtaking scenery. Rafting, stop for a picnic, and immerse yourself in nature. A perfect summer adventure – remember that canoe doesn’t provide much shelter for the elements.

No locks, but full of joy on the Lancaster Canal
My two boys and I rested on the Lancaster Canal for four days and you won't encounter locks throughout the 41 miles. This is an absolute joy. The boys loved it and had seen their phones. Even in the rain, it's fun. We rented a boat from Bluebell Narrowboat.

Sun rays and vineyards in Portugal
Last fall, I had a 12-hour cruise along the Douro River along the Douro River, €70 river, a wonderful way to embrace the benefits of slow travel and enjoy the subtle, affectionate atmosphere of Portuguese colors and atmosphere. We crawled out of Porto and quickly slid over the rolling green vineyards, adorned with yellow and gold green vineyards as they sprinkled rays and magic shadows in the September sun. Sitting there watching the sun set on the hills and valleys, it feels surreal as we glide. The village of Pinhão is delightful, and the grape harvest attracts a lively crowd to celebrate.

Seabirds on the cliffs of East Yorkshire
Forget the blue lagoon and glass bottom boats that love the Mediterranean tourist destinations and board the boat on the Yorkshire beauties (from £25 adults) in Bridlington. This historic boat will take you around the head of the growing Flamborough to reach the cliff cliffs of Bengal for a view of the puffin’s eye, one of the largest seabird colonies in Britain. The sound and smell will be within the distance the boat takes you to the cliff, and during the nesting season you will see thousands of bean net, Guillemots, Kittiwakes, and of course Puffins, Wheeling and Puffins, Wheeling and Wheeling and Diving on and under the water. Back to Terra Firma, not far north of town, you can see the viewing area on the grassland above the birds, and you may find the worms with puffin chicks.

Birdwatchers' joy in the Scottish Highlands
Recently, I enjoyed a superb cruise on the lake near Fort William, the longest fourth in Scotland, a path that didn’t run along it. The cruise offers beautiful scenery, but it is extraordinary for birdwatchers, with a good chance of seeing white-tailed eagles, golden eagles, black-throated divers, etc. Highland Cruises offers a variety of cruises on MV SILES, ranging from about 90 minutes to full day, and costs around £25, but please consult the schedule to find the one that suits you.

Crossing Lake Lugano from Italy to Switzerland
Last year, while traveling in northern Italy, I took the advice of a waiter in Milan and headed to the beautiful lakeside village of Porto Ceresio, waiting for the public boat to Lugano, Switzerland. From the open deck of the glittering white boat, we can see the hills wearing pine wood and the high peaks in the snow soaring in the distance. The journey took more than an hour. Have plenty of time to explore the town and then swim in clean lakeside waters before returning. In the evening light, it's great too.

Award Tips: Kingfisher and vines in western France
We are in a cabin in Marais Poitevin (called Green Venice) which is partly located in the Vendée between La Rochelle and Niort and comes with its own large canoe. Rather than exploring the wider area as planned, we spent almost the entire week rowing over the swamped canal network, whose lush, green, green rear water was filled with kingfishers, and in some places the vines were filled with grapes with grapes hanging on them.
