Can McDonald's fries and cola cure migraines? Doctors' trade-offs on virus Tiktok claims

Some McDonald customers at Tiktok claim that some kind of food and drink combination in fast food restaurants can get rid of migraines – although doctors will soon be able to share other headache remedies.
According to the Mayo Clinic, migraine is a headache that can cause “severe th-motion pain or pulse sensation that is usually on one side of the head.”
Common effects include nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. The same source pointed out that the attack can last for hours or even days, interfering with daily activities.

Some customers claim that McDonald's Express travel might help.
A viral video (with over 3 million views) shows a woman sitting on a McDonald's Express, drinking soda and eating fries. The text says she is doing it: “Because I had a headache for 48 hours and Tiktok said it would help.”

Other videos hint at a large number of Coca-Cola drinks and a big chip fries – “McMiGrandman”, Dr. Brintha Vasagar told Fox News that the number of numbers – can make the pain go away.
“There is some science [as] Family medicine doctors in Milwaukee said.
While this viral food may help relieve symptoms, it is not curable, doctors warn.
According to Vasagar, caffeine and carbonization in Coca-Cola are two reasons.
“If you consider most over-the-counter migraine treatments, these medications themselves may contain a dose of caffeine,” she said.

Caffeine adds that caffeine shrinks or shrinks blood vessels, which can provide migraines for some people.
Carbonization can help those who feel nauseated by headaches to solve the stomach.

When it comes to salty fries, sodium can help correct electrolyte balance and dehydration – “This may be the trigger,” Vasagar says.
The carbohydrates in the fries can also help with the stomach, she added.
Another element, Vasagal said, is the “psychological benefit of comfort food.”

“For many of us, fast food, McDonald's, that's nostalgia. That's that feeling, 'It's going to be comforting and make me feel better.'”
“I work in neurology and our headache experts actually recommend this to patients,” wrote a Tiktok man.
Another wrote that only Coca-Cola is effective, not dietary Cola. Others agree with this.

“There is no scientific reason to keep a kind of cola out, which should be beneficial for migraine treatment,” Vasagal clarified.
“I really think this work plays a psychological role – [they’re] Feeling discomfort. ”

“It's not a precaution,” Vasagal said. “It's not that you can do 'McMigraine' every day and never have migraines again. It's not how it works.”
Also, drinking a piece of coke and eating a bunch of fries can make some people worse.

“You are gaining the benefits of addressing potential dehydration and electrolyte imbalance issues, but you are not increasing the risk and unhealthy contributors from eating fries and eating coke,” Elliott added.
