Trump takes off the script and says he really thinks of Biden's cancer diagnosis
Donald Trump used former President Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis on Monday to question his leadership, a sympathy he had a day ago.
In response to journalists’ questions during the White House law enforcement campaign, Trump suggested that Biden hide the cancer diagnosis when he took office, involving an unproven plot since Bayden announced Sunday that he had no cure for his positive form of the disease.
“I think it's sad,” Trump said. “I'm actually surprised, you know, there was no notification of the public a long time ago because it was a long time to get to Phase 9. I'm just physically.”
(Biden suffers from stage 4 cancer, Gleason scores 9, so be clear.)
Trump then went on to say that he recently “achieved” a complete body that included cognitive tests and questioned why Biden's body did not include cognitive tests last year.
“I think the doctor said he was good, and it turned out that it wasn't – very dangerous. Look, that's no longer politically correct. It's dangerous for our country,” said Trump, three years younger than Biden. He added that he believes the president should be required to take a cognitive test.
Trump also argued that “someone has not explained Biden's diagnosis.” “It's big, it's a big problem,” he added.
Although Trump’s remarks have also been pushed by his supporters, it is not uncommon for older people who are suddenly diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. Prostate-specific antigen screening is recommended for men aged 55 to 69, called PSA screening, and men over 70 are not usually recommended. (Biden is 82.)
Huffpost previously reported that in most cases, people in early stages of prostate cancer have no symptoms. This means that Biden may have had the disease when he took office, but did not realize it.
Trump's sympathy on Sunday became even more sympathetic after Biden announced the news.
“Melania and I regret to hear Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis,” Trump said in Social Sciences of Truth. “We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and our family and wish Joe a quick and successful recovery.”
Trump has frequently criticized Biden’s office fitness, especially in the 2024 election season before Biden exits the game. Report Shave claims the White House hid the level of the problem when Biden took office.
Biden's office said Sunday that Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer on Friday, which had spread to his bones.
Biden's office also said he is experiencing urine symptoms.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive and can be managed effectively,” Biden's office said. “The president and his family are reviewing treatment options with doctors.”
It is also worth noting that during last week's routine physical examination, Biden's doctor also found a “small nodule” on his prostate.
On Monday, Biden shared a selfie of himself and former First Lady Jill Biden online.
He wrote: “Cancer moved us all. Like many of you, Jill and I learned that we are the strongest in the broken place. Thank you for elevating us with love and support.”
