Israel “strengthen” in Gaza activities as further reports of deaths
A major commander said on Sunday that the Israeli military is stepping up its activities in the Gaza Strip, with dozens of Palestinians reportedly killed in new attacks.
“We are strengthening our activities in line with established plans,” said Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.
“Hamas is under tremendous pressure. It has lost most of its assets and its command and control,” Zamir said during a visit to Khan City in the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the coastal territory.
He asserted: “We will deploy all the tools that can be used to bring the hostages home, remove Hamas and remove its rule.”
“It's not an endless war. Our goal is to end it by achieving it,” he added.
Israeli media have previously reported that the military has moved all its conventional infantry and tank brigades to the Gaza Strip. Currently, the armed forces are deployed in various areas of the embattled coastal areas.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently announced plans to capture the entire Gaza Strip.
Israel's actions in coastal areas, where about 2 million Palestinians are located, has received massive international criticism.
There is also growing criticism among Israel’s population, with polls showing that many favor ending the war in Gaza.

The ministry added that the figures do not include victims registered at the hospital in northern Gaza, as the current opportunity to reach the area is too difficult.

Israel: 107 AIDS trucks arrive in Gaza on Sunday
Meanwhile, after nearly three months of pause, the delivery of humanitarian aid has resumed. According to Israel's Palestinian Authority Cogat, 107 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered Gaza on Sunday via Kerem Shalom Crossing.
The goods include flour and flour for food, Kogat said in a statement.
“ IDF [Israel Defense Forces] It will continue to promote humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip while doing its best to ensure that it does not reach the hands of Hamas terrorist groups. ”
Since early March, Israel has blocked aid delivery, accusing Hamas of reselling aid supplies to fund its fighters and weapons.
The United Nations and aid organizations warn of famine in the coastal areas. Aid workers said the number of arrivals to Gaza was not enough to relieve the suffering of the population, while also describing the difficulties in allocating aid.
