“A huge trauma ward” in Gaza hospitals, when Palestinians filmed the film trying to get food: Who

The World Health Organization said Friday that the Nasser Hospital in Gaza serves as “a huge trauma ward” and is run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation due to the influx of patients injured at food distribution sites in African-American countries.

The U.S. and Israel-backed GHF began distributing food packages in Gaza at the end of May, responsible for a new delivery model that the United Nations believes is neither fair nor neutral. GHF repeatedly denies that incidents involving people who died or were injured at their locations occurred.

Among medical staff at Nasser Hospital, Rik Peeperkorn, who represents the West Bank and Gaza, told Geneva reporters: “They have been seeing it for weeks and are injured every day… [the] Most come from so-called safe non-UN food distribution sites. The hospital now operates as a large trauma ward. ”

Narmin Muammar said her brother Ashraf died Friday while getting help from the GHF Center, CBC video Narser Hospital said.

“Why do they want to open this? Kill people? Kill young people?” She cried, obviously worried. “For God's sake, close it-we don't want it.”

She said hunger forced him.

“These Americans don't want to feed the people, they killed us,” Muamma said.

Muammar spoke among a group of people who had lost relatives, all of which gathered outside the hospital for farewell ceremony. Many people cried as others prayed, corpses shrouded in white sheets.

Warning: This video contains painful images | Dozens of aid groups call for immediate changes to the way aid is done in Gaza. They say Palestinians are an impossible option: the risk of starvation or being shot.

At least 509 kills recorded at the aid point

Israel held an 11-week aid lockdown in Gaza on May 19.

The UN Human Rights Office said on Friday that as of June 27, it had recorded at least 613 killings at the aid points of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation and the inhumanitarian convoy.

“Since then… further events have occurred,” Ravina Sharmdasani, spokesman for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, told Geneva reporters.

Ohchr said 509 of 613 were killed near the GHF allocation point.

The GHF had previously said it provided more than 52 million meals to hungry Palestinians “safe, without intervention”, while other humanitarian groups “almost all assistance was robbed.”

The United Nations Office for Coordination for Humanitarian Affairs said there were incidents of violent robbery and attacks on aid truck drivers, which were described as unacceptable.

The patients are mainly boys

According to the WHO, hundreds of patients, mainly young boys, are undergoing treatment for traumatic injuries, including bullet injuries to the head, chest and knees.

Peppercohen said testimony from health workers at Nasser Hospital and family and friends of the injured confirmed that the victims had been trying to get assistance on the site operated by GHF.

Peeperkorn tells the story of a 13-year-old boy being shot and a 21-year-old boy wearing bullets around his neck, causing him to paraplegia.

“There is no chance to reverse or any proper treatment. Young life is forever destroyed,” Peppercohen said.

According to the Israeli Souls, the war began on October 7, 2023, when Hamas fighter jets attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and sending 251 people back to Gaza.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Israel's subsequent military attacks killed more than 57,000 Palestinians while replacing most of its population by more than 2 million, triggering widespread hunger and leaving much of its territory in ruins.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday whether Hamas agreed to accept what he called the “final proposal” in 24 hours, known as the ceasefire in Gaza.
