As the sky falls freely, Angel Reese

Thursday night wasn't going well for the Chicago sky, and it certainly wasn't a pleasant night for Angel Rees.
In the New York Liberty Party, the sky competed with the champions in the reign of New York Liberty with a score of 99-74. But this is the moment that happened early in the game, Reese is the preview of the night, a bit like a miniature.

Less than three minutes into the game, Reese recorded five offensive rebounds in 19 seconds, thanks to her own miss.
Reese missed four shots under the basket, two of which were blocked. Reese finally kicked out the Kia Nurse pass, but she missed the three-pointer, a rebound that Reese could not get.
The moment quickly spread on social media, with many teasing Reese – and some even saying she “didn’t beat the charges.”
The former LSU star averaged double-digit last season and set a WNBA record for the most rebounds in a single season (the injury shortened her season, which she was surpassed by A'ja Wilson). However, she is often criticized for grabbing her rebounding statistics for lack of layups, and the rebounding statistics are exaggerated.

Reese disappeared all eight shots at night, with just 2 points and grabbed 12 rebounds – 8 of them were offensive, and five of them came in only that order.
For the first time since 2021, she has not played a basket, ending a 136-game winning streak in college and majors.
Earlier this season, Rees became the fastest player in WNBA history, both recording 450 points and rebounds.
Meanwhile, New York set a WNBA record with 19 three-pointers in the victory (the Las Vegas Ace scored 22 in the playoffs). Eight of the nine free agents who tried three-pointers were at least taken from the depths. Natasha Cloud and Kennedy Burke each hit four.
New York hit 55% overall and scored 16 of 17 free throws, a sharp comparison to Reese's night.
