At least four people died in Colombia after multiple explosions outside the Kali police station

Bogota, Colombia (AP) – At least four people were killed in Colombia when rebel groups exploded bombs near police stations in the city of Cali and the neighboring Caucasus province on Tuesday.

Military and police spokespersons blamed the attack on the leadership of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces, which separated from the organization after signing a peace agreement with the government in 2016.

Authorities said the rebels threw the bomb into cars and motorcycles parked near the police station.

At a rally in Bogota, the attack on the police station took place a few days after the conservative presidential candidate Miguel Uribe (the conservative presidential candidate). Authorities say they are investigating who is behind the attack on Uriy, who is in critical condition at Bogota's hospital.

The Colombian government has been working to curb violence in urban and rural areas as several rebel groups attempt to take over the territory abandoned by the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces after several rebel groups tried to take over the peaceful deal between Colombia and the government.

Peace negotiations between the factions of the Revolutionary Armed Forces in Colombia and the government were damaged after a series of attacks on indigenous communities.

The government is currently holding talks with another faction of the group, led by Commander Luis Alberto Alban (Marcos Calarca).
