Austin explosions cost 24 homes and injured 6 people

A home in Austin, Texas was elaborated and at least 23 people were damaged Sunday in the explosion, which could hear miles and cause six injuries.
According to the Austin Fire Department, the explosion occurred after 11 a.m. local time.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation. Authorities said there were no signs of criminal activity related to the explosion.
“We think it's undoubtedly an isolated incident,” said Wayne Parrish, the department head of the Austin Fire Department, who said there was no gas service at the residence, but there were propane tanks.
Authorities say the two-story house where the explosion collapsed and a neighboring house partially collapsed.
Two residents who had the explosion were taken to the hospital. Austin-Captain Shannon Koterser of the Travis County Department of Emergency Medical Services told reporters at a press conference that one of them was in critical condition and the other was in serious condition.
Captain Cottel said one of the residents in the neighboring houses was in critical condition. The captain added that another person suffered minor injuries and two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.
Authorities said they had occupied all the people in the affected residence when the explosion occurred.
Officials said nearby garage doors and windows were blown up and a car in the residence where the explosion caught fire. Authorities say the power in the surrounding areas was extinguished due to the destruction of the explosion.
Chief Parrish said the explosion could be heard, about 30 miles north of Georgetown, Texas.
The police department at Cedar Park, about 20 miles away, said on social media that it realized “the loud boom that the whole city heard and felt.”
Chief Parrish said several agencies responded to the scene, including the Austin-Travis County EMS, the Austin Police Department, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI. He said the Travis County Fire Marshal will lead the investigation.
