Be your own beans

This is the method to make Doudou (unit cost: can be ignored)

First, you can get 20 pounds of Pinto Bean for free on freecycle.org.

Second, you soak a large bowl and soak some beans in water all day.

Third, you cook them in a pressure cooker. A regular pot can work, but it requires 3 times, 6 times the electricity, natural gas, etc.

Fourth, you chop the onions and then crush some garlic. I mean a lot 😀

Fifth, you fry the onion and garlic in a deep pot until golden brown. Cast iron is great

. I use one of them. Use more oil than you think. You might want to cover 1/4 of the bottom. I use olive oil.

Better than Teflon!

Sixth, remove the beans from the pressure cooker. Drain the water and pour them into a pot. Mash some of them. Stir and try frying them all. Make sure they don't burn. This should take about ten minutes. If they look like they are going to burn, add oil. Also, lower the calories.

Experts can use homemade lard or bacon grease instead of olive oil.
Serve with tortillas, rice, tomatoes, salads, cheese, salsa, olives, or anything you like.
