Reese stood up from the floor and entered Clark's face.
The referee watched the game and made sure Clark pushed Reese to the floor with his left hand. They upgraded individual fouls to blatant fouls. Fever Rees and Aria Boston were fouled.
“It's nothing malicious, it's just a foul,” Clark told ESPN's Holly Rowe.
This seems to be another chapter in the competition between Clark and Rees.
The two competed fiercely during the women's college basketball game. Clark talked about the importance of beating his competitors on the floor before playing against Chicago.

“The competition is real, and that's what makes the sports so good,” Clark told ESPN. “Some teams think these games mean more. [We] Come out and play the same way every night, but [a rivalry] Get fans involved and they love it. ”
Clark's history of starting last season began last season.
In 2024, Clark made a series of suspicious fouls in Reese’s sky, including Reese on June 16.
Clark also had an infamous illegal hip examination from Chicago Sky forward Chennedy Carter on June 1. Then, in late August, Chicago's Diamonds committed a harsh foul on Clark, who flew over the floor. The foul later escalated to a blatant violation, and DeShield later released screenshots of the hate message she received from the foul.

But Clark's team prevailed, with three of the four conferences between the two teams last year being one of the most popular WNBA games of the season.
