This time, Indiana calories don't have to come to Caitlin Clark's defense, but the Golden State Romance didn't make it easy for her on Thursday night.

Clark stands out, after the whistle between herself and the Connecticut Sun, involving a lot of extracurricular activities, which is not her frenzy self that usually loses 88-77 in a fever with a keen self to Valkyries.

Clark had only 3-pointers from 14 goals from the field, including her seven failed three-point attempts as the fever eventually beat the year 6-6 with a 13-point lead in the game.

Clark scored 11 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, while pulling the ball more than six times, beating Golden State.

As Clark struggled from outside the arc, her teammates didn't perform much better. As a team, Sophie Cunningham shot just 29 shots on three-pointers, and Sophie Cunningham was called Clark's “bodyguard” after the last game against the Suns, the only attempt to hit her.

ESPN's Stephen A Smith says some of the sulfuric acid to Caitlin Clark is “self-caused”

Meanwhile, the couples are headed by five three-pointers under Kayla Thornton's 16-point night and now have the same 6-6 record.

Golden State also saw significant contributions on the bench, with Tiffany Hayes (14 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds), Chloe Bibby (12 points, three rebounds, one assist) and Laeticia Amihere (10 points, three rebounds, three assists) all helping their team overcome the final double-digit deficit.

For Indiana, Aliyah Boston led the team with 17 points, while Kelsey Mitchell (16 points) and Natasha Howard (13 points) both landed in double-digit numbers in the category. However, the mistake played a big role in losing the lead with fever, as Valkyrie forced 17 to commit a total of 7 people.

This non-featured performance by Clark was especially after being poked into the eyes and pushed to the ground during a very physical WNBA Commissioner Cup game against the Suns on Tuesday night.

Clark is guarded by Jacy Sheldon when the Sun Guard poked her in the eye, and the fever superstar takes revenge by pushing her away.

This caused Mabrey, the dock of the sun, to run around, pushing Clark to the ground as he turned around. A small-scale conflict broke out, but it was not the end of both teams.

Later in the game, Cunningham ended the game as she tried to hit a basket in the fourth quarter and advanced to the point where two players were popped up after a physical quarrel under the hoop.

Indiana finally won 88-71, with Clark totaling 20 points and 6 assists. It's only her second game since returning from injury.

But it is undoubtedly not how Clark or fever reacts after that Chip game against the Suns. Their next chance to return to the victory column will be Sunday’s match against Las Vegas Ace.
