Craving for IKEA meals? The company reduces the price of restaurants a little – Country

Some customers head to IKEA for their signature meatballs and other food this summer and will soon be able to save some money as it plans to cut the price of some of its restaurant meals in half on weekdays.

Ingka Group, IKEA's largest retailer, announced the change on Wednesday. In addition to cutting prices in half from Monday to Friday, children will also eat for free.

“Food has always been very important to IKEA and we want to enable more people to enjoy our restaurant offers while exploring our range of furniture,” said Tolga Oncu, retail manager at IKEA Retail Industry INGKA.

However, offers vary by location and different regions around the world will see different levels of discounts.

IKEA Canada told Global News that the 50% drop applies only to members of the “IKEA Family” who signed up for the company's free loyalty program.
