Vice President JD Vance, his wife and other senior U.S. officials will visit a U.S. military base in Greenland on Friday, the trip is scaled after the uproar of Greenland and the Danes over Greenland and the Danes, whose plans for the original itinerary were planned without consulting them.

The official has no authority to comment publicly and requested anonymous preview of the vice president's message, adding that Vance will emphasize the importance of consolidating Arctic security in places like Pituffik.

Before Vance arrived, four of the five parties elected to the Greenland Parliament earlier this month signed a deal to form a new, broad coalition government. Both sides have a design on Trump on the territory.
“This is a time when we are under pressure as a population,” said Jens-Frederik Nielsen, the prime minister's designation.
He added: “We have to be united. We are the strongest together.”
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen congratulated Nielsen and his incoming government in an Instagram post and said: “I look forward to ending cooperation in a time of unnecessary conflict.”
Frederiksen said Tuesday that the initial three-day visit to the United States had created “unacceptable pressure.” Denmark hopes to cooperate with the United States for defense and security, but Greenland belongs to Greenland, she said.

Cora Høy, 22, said Vance was “he was popular if he wanted to see it, but Greenland certainly wasn't for sale.” She added that all the attention in Greenland received all the attention, “It's not normal here.” “I feel like every day now (Trump) I just want to get rid of it.”
