Clothes line efficiency

I always smile when I hear drying clothes with clotheslines instead of the backward labor required to buy and maintain a dryer.

When I hang a wet garment to dry, I bend it precisely three times. Because I'm smart, you know

Instead of transferring all my clothes to basketball, I bent down to buy a new one every time, I fished the clothes and put them on my shoulders if it was a shirt or a pair of pants, or a small item. I'm doing one or the other on a trip. I then walked to the clothesline and moved it from my shoulders or hands to the line. This happens at a slow walking speed.

I don't use nails. It's not a strong wind here, so I'm just hanging my clothes. If I hang it correctly, it will also have very few wrinkles. Another advantage of not using garment nails is that once the clothes are dry, a small tuft of wind will blow to the ground. That way I know they are dry without having to walk over and check (I can see the line from the bedroom window).
