FDA transparency push expands to monitor safety of vaccines and other regulated products

The FDA said consolidating safety reporting into one platform, the Adverse Event Monitoring System (AEMS), will increase transparency and reduce costs. But like the older system it replaced, AEMS reporting was not verified, making it impossible to determine the cause and effect and frequency of events.
