The “CBS Morning” host compared the women's trip to astronaut Alan Shepard, who became the first American to travel to space in 1961.
Over the past few days, several celebrities have entered social media to express their disdain for the Blue Origin flight.
Olivia Wilde shared a meme from Perry with the title “Business Flights 2025”, which is the meme of Perry leaving the spacecraft.
The actress commented: “I think a billion dollars bought some good memes.”
