Brown posted on social media: “I was jumped by multiple people who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me.”
Despite seeing Brown handcuffed by local police, he said he was only detained to provide his description of what happened and was released, not arrested.
“I went home that night and was not arrested,” Brown added. “I will talk to my law committee and attorneys to demand charges against the individual who jumped me.”
Some witnesses claimed that Brown pulled his pistol after being attacked and could hear the obvious shooting being fired in melee battles around the episode. Brown can be seen kicking a man in a video clip, and was later identified as a person trying to protect him.

After being questioned by police, Brown returned to the event, which was promoted by streaming celebrity Adin Ross and his brand risk promotion. After the incident, Brown can be seen on Rose's live broadcast and was asked if he wanted to do “story time” but stayed away from the camera.
Brown later said on the stream that “nothing happened” and he “blacked” and joked about the suffering of the CTE he suffered during his football career.
Brown, a seven-time professional bowler and four-time All-Pro trial, has not played in the NFL since 2021. However, the 12-year NFL veteran has remained in the public eye due to many off-court controversies, which is the latest.
