German refugee authorities say 464 Syrians voluntarily return
At least 464 Syrian refugees returned home from Germany this month this month, a spokesman for the Office of Immigration and Refugees told the DPA on Wednesday.
A spokesman confirmed a report from the Daily Tagspiegel Berlin, saying that since January 13, returnees have received state aid from Syrians.
This option was not available until the end of the Syrian civil war.
Aid is for travel costs and established in Syria, setting up costs up to 1,000 euros ($1,130) per person.
The number of Syrian refugees in Germany is about 1 million.
