Good news about “Tax Day”: Pizza, Burger and Donut Submit Expansion and Discount Deals
Today’s tax filing deadlines are often a horrible experience for taxpayers who have to pay a large amount of dough to the government. However, many restaurants offer some economic relief this week: discount deals for burgers, donuts and pizza.
Here is another relief: California residents and businesses affected by January wildfires have received a six-month extension (until Oct. 15) to file a federal tax return and pay for it, according to the IRS.
The state also offers all Californians an automatic extension of six months; however, any taxes that must be deposited or mailed to the 2024 calendar year by Tuesday, according to the Franchise Taxation Commission. Taxpayers who are unsure if they owe money can refer to the board’s tax calculator.
