Liverpool police respond to reports of car collision with pedestrians – Country

Police in the British city of Liverpool said they were responding after reporting a car crash in the city center, an incident called “shocking”.
“We contacted us after 18:00 today after 18:00 today after colliding with many pedestrians on Water Street.”
“The car was parked at the scene and a man was detained.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer thanked the police in an article on social media platform X.

He wrote: “The scene at Liverpool is shocking – my idea is all those injured or affected. I want to thank the police and emergency services for their quick and ongoing response to this shocking incident.”
“I’ve been on the development side of the development side and asked us to provide the police with space they need to investigate.”
More details of the incident are not yet known.
Northwest Ambulance Service said in a statement it supported the response after receiving a report of a “road traffic collision.”
It is evaluating the situation and using emergency services, it added.
The incident happened lined up in the city’s streets to celebrate Liverpool’s victory in the recent Premier League, which recently won the title in 2020 but could not be celebrated due to 119 pandemic restrictions.
Before 2020, the league champions came to the city for the last time in 1990.
The collision also occurred, with King Charles III and Queen Camilla landing in Canada to visit the country.
