Osteen previously led Arcadia from 2018 to 2022, and before that she served as an executive at Universal Health Services.

Clinical decision support launched Eddock Welcome Jesse Ehrenfeld as the new Chief Medical Officer. Ehrenfeld is an anesthesiologist and former president of the American Medical Association.

Healthcare Consulting Chattis Sara Vaezy serves as chief product and technology officer. Last year, she ended her decade-long tenure at Providence, bidding farewell to her role as chief transformation officer.

Health data platform particle health Hired Abhi Sindhwani as its first chief growth officer. He joins the organization from the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), where he served as vice president of sales and growth enablement.

Ambient AI Startup Suki Abhi Pathak serves as its first chief product officer. He comes to the company from care navigation company Accolade, where he held the same role. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at PlushCare, Dropbox, and Amazon.

kidney care inc. interwell healthNow an operating division of Fresenius Medical Care, it has appointed Carney Taylor as chief medical officer. He succeeds George Hart, who retires on January 1, and will continue to advise the company during the transition period. Taylor, a nephrologist by training, joined Fresenius in 2020.

welfare company VSP Vision Appointed Dave Plevyak as chief insurance officer. He joined the company in 2016 as senior vice president of financial planning and analysis.

Hennepin Healthcare Minnesota is eliminating five health programs and about 100 full-time positions due to a $50 million budget shortfall,

Horizon BCBS New Jersey The company will lay off 242 employees as part of a larger restructuring effort. Last year, the insurance company laid off about 8% of its employees.

pharmaceutical giant Takeda The company is cutting 243 jobs in 47 states, primarily affecting its neuroscience sales force, as it prepares to lose patent exclusivity on its depression drug Trintellix.

Tesela Therapeutics The gene-editing biotech company is laying off 90 employees (about 35% of its workforce) in several states as it restructures and refocuses its business.

Headquartered in Michigan Trinity Health Is cutting 10.5% of revenue cycle employees. Amid financial pressures such as low reimbursement and rising costs, health systems are outsourcing work to providers as part of cost-reduction initiatives
